Sunday service is the heart of the life of Stirling Methodist Church.
This is when we get together to celebrate the love of God and our
fellowship.

Worship is usually led by our own minister, John Butterfield, or one of
our local preachers, but we also see a great variety of other people
leading our services - visiting ministers, charity workers or members
of the housegroups, to name but a few. Though we have an established
pattern for our services, we are always happy to try out new ideas!

We encourage members of the congregation and the junior church to take
an active part in worship. We have no choir, but there is no lack of musical talent
in our congregation! Singing is a very important part of our services, and hymns
are accompanied on the piano or organ by a group of church members on a rota.

Sunday services start at 10.30am. We have a creche, hearing loop, wheelchair
access and large print books. Transport to and from the University campus
can be provided if required. We have tea, coffee and chat after each service.
